Bluemoon
Been thinking for a while now about fitting an lpg systems to my 300tdi, not the high cost injection system but the piped into intercooler type, just wondering if other people have done it, and if there has been any problems or best ways to fit etc. Orchie
angusb
I would fit an EGT gauge so you can gauge how hot you are running whilst you tinker with the flow rate of the LPG. Then you can get the best flow rate without damaging pistons etc. You probably don't want to go over 720C and the EGT needs to go before the turbo
Bluemoon
I've got an EGT to fit as you said, and a big intercooler from a Volvo t5, but I want to fit each thing bit by bit so I can see the improvements. I was wondering what the different insurance firms are like with e LPG, taking that they know of course Orch

bobtail4x4
A bloke I know used a normal lpg cylinder and regulator, using a solenoid switched on full throttle. he had it working for a few months when I last saw him, it gave a good shove in the back. Bluemoon
that was the setup I was going for, piped in at the air intake manifold , just want to know if it increases the cost of insurance, I know there are some that don't mind improvements, just need to know which ones
