stobbie
I have a 200tdi here, the oil pressure warning light comes at idle.. Engine runs perfect and there's enough oil in it. Could this just be the sender, do they often break?

Could this just be the sender, do they often break? It would be worth checking the oil pressure with a manual gauge. Most likely problem is that the cam bearings have spun in the block causing low oil pressure on idle (ive had this happen). Slip the engine out and send it to turner engineering or someone alike for new cam bearings and machining. Probably not going to be cheap though
stobbie
hmm, that would not be nice... I think I'll try a new sender first, it's only a few pounds...
Lars L
That's what I would do (and have done in the past to solve the problem) too.
western
check the idle revs are 750 to 800rpm, if to low the oil light will flicker, mine did & I just increased the idle revs, it's fine now.
