dotong
hi guys, first ever post! just wondering about brake line replacement on my 1986 defender 90 2.5td. the copper section going to the front os caliper has snapped, is it possible to connect the flex straight to the caliper? cheers
JimAttrill
Yes but don't go around any corners.
clbarclay
New sections of copper brake pipe are cheap enough. What cause the current piece of pipe to snap?
smo
Nothing wrong with flex straight to the caliper - as long as its long enough, i have it on my comp truck like that and many performance road vehicles have braided flexy lines straight from the factory (including rally cars, race vehicles and other vehicles)
