fats_40 Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 went out to p38 noticed it tilted to nearside,started up and the self leveling was on low. carried on up to motorway and eas fault came on.then 35mph followed,tried to drive like this for 5 miles but got the urge to put me foot down.the compresser seems to be working fine.a few questions,why would it tilt only on one side, any body help? regards.....fed up Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sounds like you may have a leak or a faulty sensor. As the ECU has registered it once you have sorted the problem you are going to need a reset. q-rover Posted November 29, 2008 Share Posted November 29, 2008 How old are the airsprings, they could be due for replacement. Most likely there is a leak. The EAS fault message was probably an errant signal from a sensor, out of range. If it hasn't come back or caused the vehicle to go into hardfault mode (bumpstops) then there is most likely no fault code. The easiest way to start figuring things out is to set the vehicle at all selectable levels whilst checking for leaks with soapy water. Of course this isn't foolproof, so a little look into the ECU via diagnostics would help. If you need new springs, I can recommend Arnott Industries.
