Dates: 25 to 31st October from Zagora to Zagora ( everybody makes their own way down and home) Fees: € 2000 + extras( insurance, licence, ....) Format: 1 main bivouac with 1 night autonomous bivouac No more teams all individuals, and two classes: Proto and standard modified. We will be updating the website in the next couple of weeks and keep you posted. We already have commitment from Danish, Polish, Belgium, Dutch, French, Italian, Spanish,....teams not forgetting UK teams of course!! Any questions please fire away. What is the situation with support teams? I have read somwhere that they are allowed. I dont have one and guess I would struggle to get one. Is there space on other trucks for spares etc? merc basher Posted December 5, 2008 Author Share Posted December 5, 2008 Hi Alan Support teams are allowed. It looks like some of the Uk crews will be looking at sharing support trucks. Given the format for this year a support crew of 1 van and a prepared 4x4 would make sense for a small group of participants ( say 4 vehicles) . The van would carry all the heavy bits and the 4x4 could intervene in remote arrears if needed. I suggest you speak with Paul at Challenger 4x4 01252 325930 as he is in touch with a number of interested crews and has the experience through participating last year.
