kingdong2 Posted December 29, 2008 Share Posted December 29, 2008 Hi guys what is the first thing you will be fitting / bolting on your landy next year for me its fitting parabolic springs went green laning on boxing day and i think it has finished the back springs off and they have only been on a year so have decided to get some bearmachs from landranger services as paddocks are rubbish and rm are messing everyone around at the mo ? graham. Timmy511 Posted December 29, 2008 Share Posted December 29, 2008 seeing as i snapped a shock, bent a steering arm and the steering damper on the ibex im guess it should be those parts. but no, im doing a cam belt on it instead as ive got the bits sat here! then ill make it driveable! lol. Ha ha no i was offerd an 80s mini heater for nothing last week off a freind thinking of fitting it where the round heater is now ? graham. Handbrake cable and rear door seal on the defender, then new shocks on the front axle and a pair of kenlowes. Plus some new interior lights... yeah typical landie, a never ending list! Now for the 1962 series 3 again re seal axle's replaces uj's on props fit the hard top again. rewire most of it (been done badly by previous owner) finish off welding the new outriggers new wiper motors had it for a few years. been used for off road around the farm and has slowly degraded. had the roof off for the summer and was a good shooting waggon needs some care and attention then MOT, has been sorn for a couple of years due to lack of time. running a nice BMC engine thanks charlie Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
