upnover4x4 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Since fitting my challenge wings, havent had a washer bottle fitted as not managed to find a decent bottle & pump set up. Can any body recommended any that has a square-ish bottle & decent output from the pump that betters Landrovers dribble. Ive seen some hi output models on bowlers etc but not sure of their origins. ciderman Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Headlamp wash pumps are more powerful than the screen pumps , get em from the scrappy Quote
plasticbadger Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 Many of the rally car parts suppliers do in-unit bottles and pumps with high output. I used to have one from Demon Tweeks in my Mk1 Escort - tiny 2L tank, but monster pump out put designed for clearing mud off the screen quickly. The one they list now is smaller - 1.2L, but at only £20 maybe two would be good! demon tweeks linky Quote
landmannnn Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 I use a 90 one, the type with two pumps, just Tee'd the outputs together. Loads of water! Quote
steve_d Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 My 87 RRC had a water bottle with three pumps fitted, one each for front and rear screens and a third large pump for the headlights. It also has a level sensor which could be useful in a competition to warn you to be a little more frugal with the washes. Steve Quote
