sajseven Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 Hi there! I'm Stephen, and I'm from Romsey, Hampshire. I "own" a Series 3 SWB petrol. I've been on some other forums for a while, and I've been lurking here, so I thought I'd introduce myself. (Is this the right section?) I was recommended to come here by Paul, also from Hampshire or thereabouts. Quote
miketomcat Posted December 31, 2008 Posted December 31, 2008 welcome hope you enjoy it here mike Quote
sajseven Posted December 31, 2008 Author Posted December 31, 2008 I might point out that I'm not really "new" as such, but I hadn't posted an Introduction, so I thought the time was right? Quote
FridgeFreezer Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 Welcome! Always good to have another Series about, I believe it's customary to post pictures so we can all coo / laugh as appropriate Quote
sajseven Posted January 2, 2009 Author Posted January 2, 2009 Welcome! Always good to have another Series about, I believe it's customary to post pictures so we can all coo / laugh as appropriate Gosh, it slipped my mind. I'll have to do it in the morning. Quote
sajseven Posted January 2, 2009 Author Posted January 2, 2009 Well, here's one picture: Sorry that I'm a bit late. It's actually afternoon! Quote

sajseven Posted January 2, 2009 Author Posted January 2, 2009 Cool - black doors are where it's at: Yer... those doors aren't mine. The previous owner wanted them for his V8 Series 2, so I've got some green doors. And a green seatbox. And some rubberised-paint black floors... Bit mix-and-match at the moment. Quote
ste clark Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 thats the way your lanny should look!!!! some people spend a fortune on harlequin paint jobs! we just use bits of 100 old lannys to make 1 multi-coloured work horse! Quote
sajseven Posted January 2, 2009 Author Posted January 2, 2009 But I want mine to look (at least look) proper-like. It should hopefully get a new paint job in, wait for it... MID GREY! That's the current and original colour, and I intend to keep it. More details: 2.25p (3MB), came out of the factory a standard soft-top, standard trim. Really, quite a regular Landy, although it does seem the 88" models are a bit less popular these days than the 109" ones? PS... I've been on OLLR for a while now, a few (700 or so) posts on OLLR, and I "run" the Series 3 Club (not the Series 3 & 90/110 Club). Quote
