You'd expect a Nov95 registered tdi to have the later engine than June 95. You wonder if it was an option to have EGR when new or LR using old stock? Mutley Posted January 21, 2018 Share Posted January 21, 2018 My guess, somebody goes to a dealer, orders a Defender in mid to late 1995 dealer places order with LR. Guy goes out to storage compound and jumps in the 1st. Available Defender, not caring if it's the new type or not! It's parked in the new Defender area so it's new, might not be new new but it's new and off it goes! Noddyhd Posted January 24, 2018 Share Posted January 24, 2018 I seem to remember that the factory didn’t keep accurate records of which 300 Tdi’s had ERG valves fitted, mines a ‘98 but never had one fitted!.... that info came from the factory a good number of years ago.
