he all have done a quick search on this and coulndt really find the right response to my question.

as we all know the dip beam on a stock rrc is poor to say the least but i dont want to put 100w bulbs in at as i did this on mt last rrc a few years ago and 3 months later had to rewire the lot due to melt down :o

so my question is are the clear glass ones any better for lighting up???

and any bulb recomendations for me?

or can any one recomend a budget hid kit?

thanks chaps

you could go 100 watt again, but use a relay triggered by yhe dip or high beam feed,a bit of work but well worth the effort, shough not cost more than £20 + bulbs,i stripped a rrc and removed a bank of 6 suitable relay,s and holders suitable for this ;)

I fitted standard 55/65W bulbs into clear glass lights.

Better lighting and looks good aswell. Link

I was so happy with them I now have them in the P38.

But don't buy ones that are coloured, as the colouring reduces light output.

Get bulbs that have clear glass.
