insurance problems

i'm getting a range rover H reg its fitted with a late 300TDI witch i know was fitted bythe owner before the one i'm buying it off,

it is fitted with a auto box, beleve it was a 200TDI before

the problem i got is all the insurance companys i've spoken to can't find a tdi with an auto box only manual or V8 auto,

so what i would like to know is did thay make a RR with a 200TDI and autobox,

or is it a 200tdi manual that some one has put a autobox in,

or a V8 auto that some one has put a 300tdi in,

i know my insurance company will cover me when thay have the paper work but i'd quite like to know as much as i can about it

I'm not sure how accurate the list is, but they are usually spot on for what I've looked at before...???

At H reg it would have been a VM diesel,5spd - the earliest 200TDI would probably be K reg and still be manual.To get TDI and auto it would be a 300TDI on an MA chassis #,earliest I've seen one of those was L reg.

so most likely is that it was a V8auto and had a 300tdi put in
