Jens
I ran into a pretty good deal on a Range Rover 78' 2 door. I was wondering if it is possible to use the axles from it on my 110 Defender 00' ? The axles have ARB lockers on them, and the RRC itself is cheaper than a new set. western
Nope, RR axles are NOT rated for a 110, even though the front is similar the internals are different & the rear isn't designed to carry a 110's maximum gross weight.

western
But the swap is OK for a 90 is it not?Thank You M Yep, no problem as a 90 is lighter than a RR or Discovey, but a 110 is much heavier

western
only early RR had that later ones face forward on both sides, I believe there are replacement axle mounts available in LR spares land
