teabag
Inside & outside temperature monitor/indicator with ice. alert
cipx2
It's what it says on the tin: Freeze Alarm - Black Ice It's a device used by bikers to trigger an alarm when the temp drops and there's a danger of ice on the road. Same thing as on modern vehicles when the outside temperature indication starts to blink under 3 degrees C. See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_ice and a similar device at http://www.aerostich.com/product.php?produ...=270&page=1 Probably used as a simple inside thermometer. teabag
Why? I have had a similar display in my disco for five years, it's handy some of the time, but not all the time. I just bought two for friends this week for there cars only £3.00 each.
LZ5UL
Cause it's not working. There is two wires coming out of the box going to the engine bay, with sensors at each end but they are smashed....
teabag
Thats a shame it looks to be an expensive unit with the big clear display and the options it has, but they can't be repaired, so the bin it is.
