draper40 Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 Hey, Yesterday as I was going along the speedo suddenly cut out. I am booked in for an MOT on wednesday and have looked through the check list and there is no mention of this so is this not a test item? What would you suspect to be the problem? western Posted February 9, 2009 Share Posted February 9, 2009 probably busted the cable at the transfer box end -- broken inner square drive or the clip at the speedo end has busted & the cable has jumped out, either way you need a new speedo cable. or swap to the Td5 electronic speedo, [see thw wibbly wobbly speedo thread for how to do i] Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
