madmatt
I am just wondering if you guys can help, at work we need to equip our 110's with a lighting mast for emergency night work. Now we can't use night scan, night owl or any of the other roof mounted jobbies because of existing roof racks. I have seen some mountain rescue 110's with masts that mount to the left of the rear door and must pump up or something can anyone point us to who supplies these masts? Cheers Matt
Happyoldgit
Matt - I know the masts you mean. Pop over to the EVS forum and ask there.
madmatt
Cheers Steve, I've tried registering with EVS to post but their admin don't like activating accounts, since I have emailed to ask why I just keep getting told they are closing their forum! SteveG
I noticed a few months ago that Pelican now have a range of remote lighting solutions that extend out of their peli cases. As they are new to this area you might be able to arrange a deal for exposure etc in UK market.. Happyoldgit
Poop - just seen the EVS announcement. Try Clark Masts Mounting options here
madmatt
Thanks We have looked at pelican and have some of their lights but we really need some thing above the vehicles to light a working area. One of the problems with peli stuff is carrying everything for incident response takes up lots of room in the backs of the vehicles and there isn't the space for the big peli stuff
Happyoldgit
Of course you might pick up an old Stemlite from somewhere but you just have to be careful of the vehicle falling over lol!
Happyoldgit
There's always Woodway but they are far from cheap. What about Fireco. SMC

western
I'd go for a Clark Mast for that job Matt, good to see your truck in one of the mags recently
steve_d
We have a Clark mast mount on the back of the 110 belonging to our RAYNET group. It looks primarily military and works very well. It is angle adjustable. Steve
Kev Baldwin
Contact Lakeland Land Rover at Torver, Cumbria. Tel: 0844 470 9905. Ask for Colin Todd. He's the guy who's created their Lakeland 'special vehicles' department specialising in kitting out mountain Rescue LR's. Nice guy who'll give you the time of day and point you in the right direction for what you're looking for.
Divster
In our team we're using Clark masts. Very durable. No problems yet with any of the kit they've supplied to us
