cooper
Hi my Rangie broke down last sunday,I was driving along and the engine just died on me, it wouldn't start, occasionally it would try and start but then nothing other times. Just had a look it, turned it over first time and she started ran for 10 mins then stopped, where abouts is the relay located and what colour is it? Or does anyone else know what could cause this Cheers Shaun

FridgeFreezer
Relay is with the ECU under the seat, be aware it is ECU controlled so until the ECU sees pulses coming from the coil -ve terminal it will not switch the fuel pump on. From memory it switches the ground side of the relay to make it come on. Full fault finding guide & wiring diagrams in the technical archive.
