Dizzy...and a question

Rover V8s

The 2 dizzys in question here ....

35DM8 - has amp under coil, and 35DLM8 has amp on side of dizzy.

Other then the amp positioing, and the spring weights and advance curves being different, ....

........are there any other differences ?

Particularly the base plate in the Dizzy,

Anyone kbnow the above for sure ?

Particularly the base plate in the Dizzy,

They are basically the same, there are some casting differences over the years but only the "bolt on" bits changed.

I have a scan of the data sheet from a service kit that has quite good exploded pics. I can email it to you if you like rather than post a huge file here, PM if you want it.
