white90
I have measured up and the area is 265.5sq ft-24.66sq mts soft ground I can move the soil removed to another area of the garden so no waste to dispose of.
SteveG
As you don't need to work on it while there Tony, I would have thought the suggestion of two strips with grass in the middle would not only look better, but would save money too. white90
I considered that but walking to the car means going on the boggy grass. the rest of the drive is gravel so If I use the same it will be at least in keeping. I'll try and get the same gravel/chippings that are used on the rest of it, and top up the bare patches there.
bluespanner
I try to keep my truck on concrete or at least hardcore, I heard somewhere if you keep it on grass, the chassis stays damp and rots sooner.

Exmoor Beast
My preference would be to use ditching stone on edge, its a bit time consuming but very pleasing to the eye and enjoyable work. Will
white90
With a little help from me a good mate came over and sorted it. 10" deep with teram/scalpings/hoggin/chippings doesn't move now and has provided parking for 2 cars.
