Vinylman23
HI, I am hoping some one may have the land rover part number for a genuine auxiliary light switch for my defender 200 tdi so I can hook up my light bar. Or some where I can get a switch that will fit into my existing hole in my switch panel on the right hand side of the dash. Many Thanks Andrew
western
you could use a heated screen switch that will fit there & just scrub off the icon & put your own icon on it. there isn't a extra switch for extra lights to fit in that location. a few option that could be used heated rear screen switch PRC4433 rear fog light switch PRC3432 interior light switch PRC7371 all are straight on/off rocker switches that fit. PaulMc
In addition to the switches Ralph has listed above, there is another Defender switch shown in Microcat - SWITCH-ACCESSORY PUSH PUSH, NON-ILLUMINATED, POLICE VEHICLE - Pt. No. 13H6342L - Price = £18.69 inc. VAT (Feb.2008) A ready-made Auxilary Lamp switch, with illuminated logo, that will fit the lower dash, is one from a Classic Mini. This is from the XParts EPC (a Russian online version ) - Item No. 11 is the front fog lamp switch, there are a few to choose from - SWITCH-ROCKER FOG-FRONT = Mini (1990 VIN XN010001 on) YUF101290PMA - Superseded by YUF101670PMA YUF101670PMA - £15.65 inc. VAT (Rimmer Bros.) ADU4791 - Superseded by YUF101640 - REAR FOG LAMP SWITCH YUF101640 - £6.51 inc. VAT (Rimmer Bros.) YUF000110 - not listed by Rimmer Bros. YUF101690 - £18.93 inc. VAT (Rimmer Bros.) Looking at some of those prices , I think that the scrappy will be a better/cheaper source of Mini switches. Another option is the Range Rover Classic Main Lighting Switch - It will fit in the Defender lower dash and is easier to to fumble for than a Rocker Switch
