jonost24 Posted February 23, 2009 Share Posted February 23, 2009 Took some rubbish down the tip on Friday, about a 45 min round trip. On the way back I had a noise !! It was like a low screech/squeel. It's a V8 with 4 spd auto. The engine revs freely with no dodgy noises, autobox changes ok. The noise wasn't continuous, the oil in the transfer box is ok, if a little mucky. It sounded like it was coming from the rear. Could this be the start of a failed rear wheel bearing??
