sotal
Just been asked and I haven't got a clue! Does anyone know if the td5 crank can be re-ground? Something to do with it spinning a shell (all a bit beyond me but I said I'd ask on here) Or is it a throw away and replace item? Are they expensive? cipx2
It can be reground one time - 0.25 mm.
Les Henson
If it's worn beyond the limit, then weld spray and regrind to original spec is another possibility. Les.
sotal
Thanks, I've managed to find a bit of information which said it is coated with something to make it harder, one regrind is ok like cipx2 says. It did mention welding then regrinding to original but it then needs coating again
