I'd like to spray them to match the body, any idea if its difficult to get the paint to stick and whats the best primer to use? Thanks, Henry. davidov1 Posted February 27, 2009 Share Posted February 27, 2009 I painted my black wheelarches about five years ago. I lightly rubbed the wheel arches down and then used 'plastic primer' from Halfords. It comes in an aerosole spray can and one can was enough to do two coats for the four wheel arches. A slight technical hitch though, the Def I was going to see has been sold but it will still be useful when I can find the right one. So its back to the small ads..... Cheers.
