Peterla Posted March 1, 2009 Share Posted March 1, 2009 I suspect I have a turbo issue on my disco 200tdi. The first sign I noticed was a leak around my airfilter of positave pressure a idle. I though possibley crankcase breathing so I disconnected my breather tube. The pressure then cam from the large line between my airfilter and turbo, mot my breather tube. It gave positive pulses. I can then only assume I have a leak between my exhaust and inlet side of my turbo. Les Henson Posted March 1, 2009 Share Posted March 1, 2009 The gasket can blow between exhaust and inlet ports. Might produce a bit of smoke as well, but a chuffing noise is what it usually does.
