michaelk
About 18 months ago, i bought a land rover defender 90. It was an ex- police landy. On the front grill there are two sware holes, i would say 5''x4'', where i presume the police had there small blue lights. Can anyone reccomend some good lights, maby Hella or the likes which would take there place? if i need to i can make the holes in the grille bigger! it has been niggling at me for a while now as it was either lights or a new grille, and i prefer the idea of the lights
bishbosh
If you put "square spot lights" into ebay you get: THIS Any good?
michaelk
Hmmm These look like what I'm looking for. Thanks I think they would look alright! Cheers
PaulMc
Personally, I would just replace the Grille - they're not that expensive. Alternatively, you could fit these - 12V Amber Square Strobes - ABRED1 or these - SPOTLIGHTS BY HELLA 1970`S CHROME BACK I'm not sure about "1970's" - I've got a Hella Accessories Catalogue from 1985/86 and they're listed in there as - "Model (149) Monte Carlo - Made of heavy-gauge chrome-plated steel" - available as Fog or Driving Lamps Lamp Dimensions = 154mm High x 162mm Wide x 68mm Deep Overall Height = 177mm (from mounting bracket to top of lamp)
