Matt Neale
Try to find it in the forum. How do you rekon the axle code of your rig? 10M, 61L etc The axle number is stamped on the top face of the axle case, adjacent to the breather. It's generally quite faintly stamped, but cleaning it up with some wire wool should allow you to read it. Matt

JMerk
Unfortunately, the number appears to have been worn off my axle. Any other way to tell? I have 300 tdi diesel 110 Landrover. Front and rear brake disc. 5 door station wagon. Vin #: S********MA945843. I need the to replace the gear kit in front diff and trying to see if part # TCI100060 or STC851 is correct for my vehicle. Thanks, J
western
On later axles the serial number is made up with lots of dots [centre punch style] to form the digits, these can be very difficult to read, doubt they have 'worn' off unless someone has run a grinder over the area.
