renault4
Just got my battery isolator switch and am unsure as to which pole should be switched, positive, or negative, does it make any difference?

Tris Cocks
I would suggest switching positive, this is becasue the cabling will be live up to the switch and after the switch will be dead. However if you switch the negative return to the battery everything up to the switch will still be live.
