nige90 Posted March 4, 2009 Share Posted March 4, 2009 Helping a friend trace a small coolant leak on a 2001 TD4. Seems to be coming from the oil cooler assembly behind the alternator and above the aircon compressor and looks a right pain in the ar*e to remove. From the little I can see there is only one coolant pipe so I assume there is a coolant feed (or return) directly into the block and hance a failed gasket. There also must be a couple of oil seals. So the big question is...is it a PITA or simply drop the aircon pump onto a stand, remove alt and voila..... Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
