TD4 Coolant leak

Helping a friend trace a small coolant leak on a 2001 TD4.

Seems to be coming from the oil cooler assembly behind the alternator and above the aircon

compressor and looks a right pain in the ar*e to remove.

From the little I can see there is only one coolant pipe so I assume there is a coolant feed

(or return) directly into the block and hance a failed gasket. There also must be a couple

of oil seals.

So the big question is...is it a PITA or simply drop the aircon pump onto a stand, remove alt

and voila.....
