L/R part number XQD101730PMA (VDO part number 22DC597/60R) and XQD000050PMA (VDO part number 22DC597/60L). They appear to be similar, same functionality, have the same connectors, and in the second-hand market seem to be used interchangeably on Freelanders and Discos (and normally just referred to as the C42 unit). While the L/R part numbers are different, the VDO part number differs by just a /L or /R. Does anyone know the difference between the two units?
