daveyboy300tdi
The central locking has packed up on my 97 300tdi. I thought it was the fob but I put a new battery in it and had it checked at a garage and they say its ok. But couldn't shed any light on my central locking! It's a real pain in the arse, the key only fits the drivers door Is there a box/unit that controls the central locking under the dash thats a swop with a new one? Any ideas? climbing allover the interior to open doors is killing my back
Thys
Any ideas? climbing allover the interior to open doors is killing my back Climbing all over the interior sounds frustrating, but it may be more intersting if there were occupants you are clambring over, and they are of the fairest nature...... kevinr
have you tried resyncing the fob? there is a section in the manual that covers this. Or does the central locking fail even when you use the key in the drivers door? If so, try checking the fuses, it may have blown
daveyboy300tdi
The central locking still doesn't work when I use the key in the drivers door and I've checked the fuses. It started by working intermitent for a while then stopped. It's only normally the dogs im climbing over My back can't take much more
