Controling the engines the thing. CAN BUS linked to everything. would be great to have a 100" TDV8 auto with the RRS air suspension with a defender body......wait for it...... smo Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 Possible....Yes Been done...Allegedly yes in europe i believe However as marcus says its controlling the engine that is the problem, i believe that one of the tuning companies (possibly jeremy fearn or JE engineering) have got a stand alone ECU that works - the problem is the huge pricetag. LS Chevy must be the way to go if you want something with grunt, the looms and ECU's come as a stand alone package and it's all still cheap despite the Dollar having got more expensive for us.
