Places for Custom Made prop shafts and Quality?

Recommended Posts

Ordering a custom made prop for my hybrid this week and was wondering what experiences people have had with them

Have prices for Gwyn Lewis and Devon 4x4 and both seem very good, Gwyn one is a GKN one.

Was wondering if there are any other companies i should look out for, there was a prop shaft company at the indoor 4x4 show but they were twice the price as both my other quotes.

Many thanks

Another vote for make your own. I've done a few now, including the Toyota/Landrover hybrid ones on my Range Rover and I've never had a problem with balance etc.

There's been a few threads on here about how it's done, but it's quick and easy - I reckon 30 minutes to shorten a Landrover prop nicely.
