JST Posted August 19, 2005 Share Posted August 19, 2005 i have a copy then when you go to run it it comes up with this msg: 'microcat has not found an authorsied dongle' contact your microcat supplier' i tried my supplier but he didnt have any ideas anyone else any ideas what i need to do to make it run? i am running XP. Les Brock Posted August 19, 2005 Share Posted August 19, 2005 James, Try looking at the route directory of the disk and browse its contents there should be a text document and a "file" to copy and paste into a particular dirctory which will be indicated in the text doc ! tuko Posted August 19, 2005 Share Posted August 19, 2005 1. You have to use an earlier version of microcat, that has a crack folder/file with it. 2. Then what you have to do is, with your up to date cd, copy over the "LRE_data" to the same directory thats installed in your computer ( usually in you C/ ), minus the "DSET" & "MCHELP32" files. 3. Start as usual, the files should be up to date, including any new vehicle information. This works for me and I'm running on XP Pro. Good luck. Todd.
