Nige I am only guessing here, there are 3 types of air line conection available you will just have to gt the ones that are compatable with what you already are using and get one of those light plastic susie lines that are in a coil that expand and contract as you move around, same as the ones used on artic trucks, and some filling stations use them at their services for air to blow up your car tyres. paintman
Looking at the instructions it suggests a new airline. I presume this is to avoid using a manky old airline that could have had God knows what through it. The suzie type lines are small bore & generally a complete waste of time for other than tyre inflation as they don't allow the required volume of air to pass through. Wihout seeing it I would guess that you require standard type PCL couplings.
Hybrid_From_Hell
I am only guessing here, Erm - yes I think you are Curly air line no use, there is a "Breathable air quality hose with a BS number" which I was wondering what exactly it is and if i need it with an oilless compressor charcoal filter system / water seperator unit feeding it, ..............and Paintman I'll see if I can get pics thanks so you can identify thanks - Nige
Giles tout terrain
You could use PCL fittings but imo i wouldn't as you wouldn't get enough airflow, What size compressor are you going to use to feed the airfed and the gun? I would make sure you have at least 2 water seperators and a coalescent filter before the air gets to the belt before you risk breathing the air. Personally i wouldn't breath even filtered air from a piston compressor but thats up to you. In the trade we have strict HSE guidelines on air quality. http://www.devilbisseu.com/cat.aspx?id=52 (i'd use at least one of these after the water filters) http://www.devilbisseu.com/cat.aspx?id=57 (airline fittings) http://www.devilbisseu.com/cat.aspx?id=55 (airline) The bits your after you could purchase from your local paint factor they should stock them all
