Do you just have the ECU ?

The simplest way of telling a Hotwire ECU from a flapper ECU is the colour, normally flapper ECUs are bare metal, hotwire ECUs are painted black. The hotwire will also normally have a part number of 14CUX on it somewhere.

Dose anyone know if the 14CUX was fitted to any other engine. As far as I understand it the flapper system was a BOSCH setup and fitted to lots of other engines like porsche 944.

The flapper and 4cu ecu were used on landrover 3.5s, Rover 3.5s (SD1), TVR and Morgan.
