Aragorn Posted April 4, 2009 Share Posted April 4, 2009 I'm trying to find out if the TD5 transfer box sits in the same place as the 300TDi item I'm currently rebuilding my truck and i'm using a TD5 chassis, i've been looking at fitting the 300TDi gearbox/transfer box crossmember, and it appears that the TD5 chassis has some bracketry exactly inline with where the crossmember is supposed to bolt in. I'm just wondering if this bracketry is in the same place as the mounts that would be provided by the TDi crossmember? As far as i can tell from the part numbers, the TDi and TD5 propshafts are the same, which would suggest they sit in the same place.
