Hello

Handbook says;

ON-ROAD unbraked trailer 750kg/1653lb, braked trailer 2000kg/4409lb,

OFF-ROAD unbraked trailer/braked trailer both 500kg/1102b,

Max tow hitch load (nose weight) 140kg/309lb

All assume vehicle loaded to gross vehicle weight

This is from handbook for 2005 vehicle.

Cheers

Matt

My understanding is that if the vehicle is loaded to gross wheight, the towing wheight is rstricted to 1,800kg otherwise you can exceed the gross train wheight. 2,000kg would be assuming the car was at least 200kgs beneath GVW.

Cheers
