daveturnbull
Going to rebuild the rear brakes on a friend's 300tdi 110 soon and he wants to use stainless pistons. I know the piston and seal kit is STC1281, but this doesn't appear to come in stainless flavour, and I can find no mention of what size pistons it uses to be able to buy the stainless ones separately. Are they 606683 (41mm) or STC201 (46mm)? I would normally get the verniers out and measure them but I don't have access to the vehicle at the mo. I'm afraid google has not been forthcoming with the answer...
western
You won't get Stainless steel pistons from LR, they'll be aftermarket items such as on this page
daveturnbull
Thanks Ralph - I'd sussed that much. I know of suppliers that do both sizes in stainless, just need to know which ones to get. Dave
