Defender front axle id / number?

I am about to buy a new set of cv-joints for the defender.

The guys from lrseries need to know the axle id, in order to give me the correct cv-joint type.

Can someone point me in the right directon on where to find that on a 1994 defender 90" (300tdi with disc all around).

On top of the axle on the long side. You might have to clean it off to see the number.

on 300Tdi vehicle later the axle number is formed by lines of dots [like centre punch marks] making up each digit of the serial number so you'll have to get the wire brush out & give the axle a really good clean, to read the full serial number.

If I am not able to determine the number due to rust ect. Is there any way to make a real qualified guess on which axle id to expect on a:

Defender 90"

LHD

Year 1994/1995 (VIN year-code: "MA")

without ABS, discs front and rear.

afaik all 1994> use the same "small" 32spline CV joint...
