carpenter-dj
Looking at buying this, as an upgrade from my current freelander SE TD4 04plate. What are the positives and negitives between the two? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Land-Rover-Defender-...bayphotohosting thanks in advance carpenter-dj

C18RCH
defender: + Its a landrover - Its a landrover freelander: - Its a freelander Seriously, freelanders are ok for what they are designed for, snow grass etc mainly for road use. I got one as a courtesy car and was impressed with how it handled and fuel economy but I took it off road on my daily run around my parents farm and it got trashed. If you plan to go off roading beyond gentle green lanes or need to tow anything substantial get the defender. If you need the fuel economy and long range comfort buy a discovery
headhunter
It's over priced. Earlier this year Marshalls main dealer in Cambridge had a 110 Puma similar spec 2007 with 5000 miles for £17000. John
