TheHarv Posted May 4, 2009 Share Posted May 4, 2009 Been doing my H/G following the excellent write up in the tech archive except I had some work done on the head so I took the thermostat housing off The Payen head set has the 2 thermostat gaskets but I'm not sure which goes between head and (lower) t-stat housing and which is the (upper) thermostat gasket The papery one has a slightly larger hole and looks like it fits the bottom better The thicker fibre one looks like it would retain the lip of the t-stat Is this correct?
