tonycougar
Whats the weight of the LT 230 transfer box? Thought it would say in the manual but I can't see it.
Ibex94
Hi Tony Just weighed mine for shipping, the gearbox without handbrake assembly and gearbox mounts is 50kg. Regards Rob
Aragorn
50kg for the transfer box alone?! I'd never had believed that. I've just baught one off ebay and need to arrange shipping for it. I was thinking about 40kgs tops, 50kgs makes it much harder to get the shipping sorted out

western
Yep around 50kg, very heavy when your trying to refit it on your own, as I found recently.
Gromit
Yep around 50kg, very heavy when your trying to refit it on your own, as I found recently. Spent the morning trying to mate one with a gear box on the ground. Dang hard to move around, line up etc. Wouldn't like to fit or remove one on my own at ALL.
