Grant.
Hi all! My fathers looking at getting a disco 3, hes found one which he REALLY likes and i love Its a v8, which was fine, because we could LPG it. However according to the salesman, the only way to LPG the disco 3 is to remove the rear 2 seats, this was one of the reasons he wanted a disco 3 as it had the 7 seats not 5 like the rangie's. Therefor I am asking... Is it true you have to remove the rear 2 seats to fit LPG onto a disco 3 or is there a better alternative as to keep the seats? Thanks in advance Grant
J@mes
Surely the tank can go where the spare wheel is, under the back? Just means you either have to do without a spare wheel.
cipx2
The options are: - in place of the spare wheel (spare goes on a swing away carrier or on the roof) - in place of both rear seats - transversely mounted - in place of the RH rear seat - longitudinally mounted (leaving you with 6 seats) - on the roof (special requirements in this case) Your choice. Grant.
K, thanks guys, I personally would fit a swing away and mount like that, and put the tank underneath! Are the petrol v8's as reliable though? I mean as the TDV6's Thanks Grant
