DrRob Posted May 26, 2009 Share Posted May 26, 2009 The bonnet striker pin has sheared on two sides on the underside of the bonnet of my '93 Classic I remember a repair article in LRO/LRM a while back but can't find it. I reckon: 1) Remove pin and make sure backing plate doesn't move... 2) weld a patch with pre-drilled holes onto bonnet 3) re-bolt.. Waddya reckon?
