dexron 3 equivalent?

Depending on what you want it for you might be able to use Land Rover's own MTF94 in manual boxes. There are a lot of manufacturers making a Dexron III or IIID compatible oil, I don't like in UK but find it hard to believe Halfords etc don't have something equivalent? Here we use Castrol TQ Dexron IIID.

I got some from my local independent motor factors [Abergavenny Brake and Clutch], they had plenty of Dexron II, III, IIID and IV, can't remember the manufacturer's label, but most are made in the same factory anyhoo, with just their additives determining the price difference.

Allegedly Dexron IV and VI are backwards compatible with III also, but some manufacturers do not state specifically if you can use their ATF like this.
