unclebill1
Been meaning to do this for ages, the P38's been as good as gold except the air suspension. Finally got the time so ordered a conversion kit from Paddocks. All arrived on time, everything fitted a treat and the instructions were spot on. Can't speak better than that, fitted some General Grabber tyres and she looks real nice now, all ready for the Artic trip on my next leave. q-rover
I love the EAS. How are you getting to the arctic?
unclebill1
I love the EAS. How are you getting to the arctic? Yes, its lovely when it works, also too bl**dy expensive to keep in good condition. Harwich to Christiansand, across to Oslo then up North to Nordkapp and back down the West coast, thats the plan anyway. Bill

Bill Is that a new route? We're coming then going Kristiansand>Hirtshals drive to Esjerg>Harwich and return. If you're coming down the west coast and get as far as Stavanger pop in for a cup of tea. And don't take the 'motorway' to Oslo, go via RV41/ 37 and pop into Rjukan. (Heroes of Telemark, heavy water plant)

(Heroes of Telemark, heavy water plant) Apologies, Kristiansand, don't know about the Harwich crossing, had a lot of trouble to book it, Bath Travel finally did it for us, about 200 quid return for the Landrover and two passengers if I remember rightly, I know its all booked for about the beginning of September which fits in with my next leave, three vehicles going at the last count, looking forward to it and thanks for the info about Rjukan. q-rover
No problemo. If you want any other tips on which roads to take/ not take then justgive me a shout. And if you come as far SW as Stavanger pop in for a cup of tea. Have a look at the area here. Ryfylke It's only 2.5 hrs to drive to Kristiansand from me. Have you got any info on that crossing as I can't find any and would be interested in looking into it.
