benbenukuk Posted June 2, 2009 Share Posted June 2, 2009 I have a 300tdi 90 with a full size intercooler but would like to fit a close up bumper for my 8274 but don't know whether to get the rad+intercooler moved back or get a uprated smaller one, At the moment the pump/turbo hasn't been messed with and is std, If I get the smaller one will I see a big difference in power? cheers. Aragorn Posted June 3, 2009 Share Posted June 3, 2009 a bigger intercooler is always going to be better, however seen as your truck is running standard boost pressure and fuelling you wont see any difference fitting a slightly shorter uprated one in place of the existing full size one imo.
