Freelander Soft Top Rear Window Gap

I had the same thing with my older Freelander. There are two adjusters on the rear of the hood above the rear window. Each has 4 click positions that move the top of the hood out. There are also two bolts in the tailgate that adjust the angle of the rear screen. Also the two rear sockets that, both the hood & hardtop lock into are height adjustable.

It took quite a while to get mine to fit & I still have to apply a little pressure to the top of the window, when I close the tailgate to ensure that the window rises behind the outer seals of the hood.

Thanks for your help,

I had spotted the two adjusters on the rear of the hood and that helped, will look at the two bolts in the tailgate. How do you change the socket heights?

I can get it to about 2mm out but it still pops out, will have to have another fiddle with it.

Landrover themselves have been next to useless...
