edwardatherton
I have two cork seals and two rubber T-shaped seals that appear to be intended for the rear bearing cap, but which is best/worst, or can/should I fill it full of silicone and ignore these...? minivin
I wouldn't try and fill it with Silicone, as it needs an air-gap to let the air out that the silicone is trying to replace, and thereby you can't get the seal for the silicone pressure to fill every crevic before it trys to squeeze out elsewhere. As tonk says, go for rubber
