Guess it must be rust at a door switch causing the circuit to earth and so come on? Any other explanations? Cheers again all and thanks. MJIbex Posted June 17, 2009 Share Posted June 17, 2009 Would agree that a faulty light switch or door pin switch is most likey. However I had had the same issue on my 2006 110. Traced it eventually to the drivers door striker had become loose and could move back and forth, and at any given moment the switch could open the light would come on for 10 minutes and then go off because of the time override circuit.
