tobes
Here is a nice write up and pictures about a toyota conversion on the front axle of a discovery. Washbrook Bobtail It seems more common abroad but it might be useful to someone!!
LR90
I think Toy parts are more readily available abroad. Nice write up, bit more complicated than I was expecting but then I was only thinking of the diff change (didn't realise the pan needed changing too though). Wonder if LRM did publish it, be a credit to them if they did.
Mehetabel
Wonder if LRM did publish it, be a credit to them if they did. The last time I saw Norman [an Aussi on walkabout in Colorado [wife got a job and all he has to do is play with his Landie]] he said that he is "on staff" now since he has sent them so many NA articles. It could be that it will only show up in the NA LRM.
Astro_Al
Hi, I was about to do this when I bought Mog 404s instead. It's not necessary to change the diff pan, but most people take the opportunity to 'sewer cap' it (kind of like an integrated shield - the standard case is pretty thin...). It's pretty easy to do, anyway. It's a great conversion. Al.
